Hello!

Thanks for visiting. I'm an Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. You'll find some information about my research and teaching here. The photo above is one that I've taken of my favourite spot in Western Australia. It was taken at the small town of Augusta, specifically at Cape Leeuwin, located at the South Western most point on the Australian continent, and at the meeting of the Southern and Indian oceans. Some say if you look carefully you can see the waves from the two oceans crashing together!

Research Summary

My main interest is in statistical signal processing, and specifically Bayesian methods and random sets, with applications to multiple target tracking. I have related interests in Monte Carlo methods, data fusion and stochastic control. You might already know me as one of the first adopters of the supposed random finite set (RFS) or finite set statistics (FISST) approach to multi-sensor multi-target tracking. Anyway drop me a line if any of this sounds like it is of any interest to you for a PhD project.
